A lakeside restaurant and sauna are available for private parties, events, and business meetings. Come and enjoy food, nature, fishing, and other activities at Artalli restaurant, located in beautiful country settings, only 40 kilometers west of Helsinki. Since 2004, we have been organizing all kinds of events with great success, known especially for our outstanding food and fishing & boating trips in the unique surrounding nature.

Facilities

Artalli is an old stable on a family estate by the lake Vikträsk that has been turned into a cozy retreat with all modern technology. No matter what the occasion, all our facilities and the surrounding gardens are in your private use to ensure privacy for your group.

Dining room
The dining room seats up to 50 guests, but it is perfect for smaller dinner parties. A cozy atmosphere with old wooden walls and a fireplace, with a beautiful view of the terrace and the lake. In summertime, even 100 people can eat in practically one space, as doors to our max 60 seat terrace are opened.
Terrace
From our terrace, a beautiful view opens up over the lake, and in summertime, we can seat up to 60 dinner guests under its roof. It is also a perfect place for serving appetizers and drinks. On the outside terrace, there is more room for relaxing and basking in the sun or for playing different yard games, having a barbecue party, etc.
Upstairs for meetings & parties
The “attic” is one big space, in two levels for meetings, presentations, dancing, activities, etc., for up to 100 persons. Usually, meetings take place on the lower level, where we can seat up to 30 people in different table forms. There we have a data projector, canvas, WiFi, stereos, piano, and other equipment for meetings and for entertainment.
Sauna & warm outdoor tub
Our lakeside sauna is surrounded by nature and is totally isolated from the rest of the world. The sauna is not big, but even larger groups can enjoy this Finnish tradition at once, as some are in the “löyly,” some are bathing in the hot tubes, some are swimming, while others are relaxing on the terrace. There is one dressing room, two showers, up to 8 people can enjoy “löylyistä” at once, and there are two 6 people outdoor hot tubs on the terrace.
Garden and lake shore
Right beside the sauna, on our pier, is our fleet of fishing boats, ready to take guests on a fishing & boating trip to the lake, river, and the Baltic sea. Fishing can also be done from the shore, and there is room to do that for groups of up to 50 people. In our garden, we can organize different kinds of yard games and other activities, and there is room to play football, beach volleyball, and other sports. All the fishing trips and other activities are organized by Vapaaherranelämää, who is also running the day-to-day operations of Artalli. In winter, our yard “expands” as the lake gets ice cover. Then we do ice fishing, ride snowmobiles and ATVs, and do all sorts of exciting winter activities.

Artalli is ideal for all sorts of occasions. With its location, facilities, activities, excellent food, and dedicated staff, your event is sure to be a memorable one. Boats are ready to take you on an all-inclusive fishing or boating trip from the pier of Artalli’s lakeside sauna. We have access to the Baltic Sea and its unique archipelago through Lake Vikträsk, Pikkala river, and floodgates. In winter, ice fishing, snowmobile rides, and various winter sports are great fun for your guests.
We can also arrange transportation for you and your guests by land, sea, or air with a helicopter. All occasions are tailor-made to meet our customers’ wishes!

Here is how you find Artalli when coming from Helsinki
Take Road 51 and drive approximately 37 km from Helsinki. Turn right at the sign for KELA 4. Drive for 2 km and turn left at the sign for SJUNDBY 4. Continue for another 2 km and you will see the sign for Artalli. Turn left and you will see the old red barn building by the lake, next to the yellow main house. When you arrive at the yard, you will find parking space on your right.
